Buck Run On Balsam Ridge is a true gem in the mountains close to Downtown Waynesville, NC with quaint pubs and restaurants for your evening fun (about 10-15 minutes), as well as daytime fly fishing on the Tuckasegee River, (15-20 minutes) and tubing Deep Creek (such a blast!!) It's also just about a 45 minute drive away from Downtown Asheville. Waynesville is the home for Western Carolina University to there is plenty of hustle and bustle all year round.
Buck Run has a summertime swimming pool that opens up in mid May though mid October as well as a brand new hot tub with a nice Mountain View for guests to enjoy. You will feel the comfort of this log cabin home with the privacy and nice yard space for family/ friends activities. In the winter months, the warmth of the gas fireplace and cozy atmosphere will be sure to give you the comfort and relaxation you are looking for.

This log home is spacious and cozy and the perfect place for you and your guests. The living room and kitchen are an open floor plan with a dining room table that seats 6 as well as a bar in the kitchen. You can see what is going on in the downstairs from the open loft above. There is a ground coffee maker (or Keurig too) for your morning coffee, plenty of storage space for your groceries, and a gas stove for cooking. The whole group can gather around the kitchen on the bar stools to help make a fabulous meal together. Perfect for holiday meals. The living room has a large smart TV for your enjoyment of your favorite streaming channels.
It has a master bedroom with a queen sized bed and cable TV with an en suite full bath on the main floor. This bedroom has it's own French doors leading to the front porch and is steps away from the hot tub.
The loft area has two additional bedrooms. One bedroom has another full bath upstairs with a queen sized bed and the second bedroom offers 2 twin beds.
This one will be a crowd pleaser so feel free to go ahead and book it! It might be gone if you pass it by!
PLEASE NOTE:
We have stocked your home with a starter supply of toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, garbage bags, dishwashing soap, and laundry soap to get you started. If you happen to run out or need additional supplies during your stay, you can replenish at a nearby store.
Towels and linens are provided.
Please bring your own shower and bath toiletries.
Friendly reminder~ No pets allowed and no smoking or vaping on the premises. There will be a $500.00 fine for any unauthorized pets or smoking on premises.
